Webjam is delighted to announce our Strawberry release – the new, improved and faster Webjam! Read more in the official blog post.

FROM THE FACTORY
The end of 2007 saw the Webjam team spending their days creating, testing and playing with the Strawberry release. In our non-work hours we were excitedly telling friends about all the fabulous features that we've incorporated into the upgrade. So on Monday night, after a little blood (some papercuts), sweat (from the boys – not the girls) and a few tears (of joy) we were thrilled to launch the upgraded Webjam.

The features star is the Style editor – it has a whole range of delicious new styles so everyone can have a colourful & gorgeous webjam. The fast speed of the photo-uploader in the Photo module is great for uploading all the Christmas holiday snaps. The Forums are faster and more clever than ever, all posts open in a separate permalink and the owner is subscribed to email updates of posts.

As with all change there can be some teething problems and we are aware of a few known issues, so we’ve outlined the new features and the issues in one place for you.

TIP OF THE WEEK: HTML everywhere
You can now post videos, games, gadgets (and more) into your Webjam Profile, onto the Forums, Bulletin or Blog. Simply copy the HTML from the source (for example Youtube or Widgetbox) and then paste this HTML into the Webjam module you want it in.
