Closing a blog post to comments

redheadIf you ever write a blog post you do NOT want to allow people to comment on, it's easy to 'lock' the post, so that readers are not allowed to comment on it.
All you need to do is untick the 'Allow Comments' tick box in the post editing screen.
See below - the tick box is circled in red.
You can use this feature even after the post has been published. The comments that have already been made will be saved and displayed, but no new comments will be allowed.
